A little bit about my history: I grew up in the Madison area, and have been an athlete most of my life. In high school, I played football, soccer, track, and swim which kept me busy all year long! After high school, I joined the Air Force and attended the United States Air Force Academy class of 2013. I graduated with honors and degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics. However, during this time, I completely fell out of the athletic lifestyle. From here, I was given the opportunity to go to UW-Madison for a 2 year Master's Degree in Industrial and Systems engineering. It was during this time that I got hooked on fitness and bodybuilding.
I did my first competition as a natural bodybuilder at the Ford's Gym Natural Wisconsin Championship in the spring of 2015. At this show I took first place in my weightclass (not the overall however), and truly fell head over heals for the sport.
Shortly after that show, the Air Force moved me to Wichita Falls, TX to attend pilot training. Due to the busy nature of training, I had to take some time off from competing, but in those 18 months I learned how to fly the T-6 Texan and T-38 Talon, graduated from Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals, and began training in the F-16 Fighting Falcon!
After I finished training, the itch to compete came back, and I returned to the stage in the spring of 2017 at the Arizona Copper Classic. It was here that I swept the competition -- winning my weightclass, the overall, as well as best poser and most muscular!
Currently, I am flying F-16's for the Air Force in Alamogordo, NM while also training for my natural bodybuilder pro-debut at the Arizona Pro/Am Shredder on 28 October. It's an extraordianarily busy lifestyle juggling my flying career and the dedication required for bodybuilding, but I love every minute of it!
