Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My dad started training me in martial arts when I was 2 years old, and I've competed in many tournaments over the years, my most recent being October 2014, where I took first place for forms in the Tae Kwon Do national black belt division. All through elementary, middle, and high school I ran track, and did 8 years of ballet. I loved to get out there and perform my best! In high school I began training seriously with kettlebells, and am currently the youngest RKC Level 2 instructor certified through Dragon Door.
After overcoming a lot of self-doubt, I've decided to once again perform, this time as a Bikini Athlete with the NPC. I still train regularly with kettlebells and martial arts, and I teach a wide range of students ranging from kids to older adults. And as if that weren't enough on my plate, I'm also studying to be a dietician, and do nutritional counseling on the side. I'm the type of person who needs to always be involved in something and working towards a goal, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for my athletic career!
