I've been riding snowboards since I was 5 years old when I got my first board as a Christmas gift. I joined the Midwest Best Snowboard Team when I was 11 and have worked hard to progress my riding. My first year on the team, I was able to qualify for the USASA Nationals at Copper Mountain Colorado. I placed in the 30s Nationally. This past season I worked hard to improve my racing skills and to improve my ability in the half pipe. My hard work paid off and I had several podium placements in those events. I look forward to continually improving my riding and ability and will be competing in Colorado again this up coming season. My focus is in Slalom and Giant Slalom, but I love Banked Slalom and Half Pipe. Snowboarding gives me the ability to express myself creatively while having fun.
In my off season I keep in condition by working on the trampoline, skateboarding, soccer and being outdoors.
